summer football camp

The BYF Summer Camp will be held Monday-Thursday the weeks of June 15th and June 22nd, 8:30am – 11:00am. Location: Beese Park - East and West Football Fields

The camp is designed to teach both tackle and flag players the key elements of playing football including:

proper stance footwork blocking techniques

running pass routes proper pursuit angles and many more exciting skills

Our camp counselors include many former and current BHS varsity football players and several players who continue to play at the college level.

A typical day at Camp is structured as follows:

• 8:30-9:00 Warm up/Stretching
• 9:00-9:30 Agility/Conditioning
• 9:30-10:30 Specific Skill “station” work
  (days are rotated as offensive or defensive days)
• 10:30-11:00 Team Games

Camp participants are grouped by age with groups being under 8 years old, 9/10’s, 11/12 and 13 and over.

During the second week of the camp BHS Varsity Coach, Joe Sanchez, and other varsity coaches from BHS work with the 12 and over group and help get them acclimated to playing football at the next level.
